Evaluation

I made certain editorial decisions because I wanted to make it seem natural while still trying to follow the client brief. I think they were mostly the correct decisions especially on casting and the shots that I decided to use. I do think that I met the client brief because I made sure the target audience was men and women aged 16 to 24 and it does show how you should carry round condoms with you every day and how they are an every day item.

During this project I learnt how to put music in the back ground of a video and how to cut and arrange clips and photos into the same video. I also learnt how to use transitions and cutaways in a video and how to shorten or extend a video.

The people in my class said that my video was good and seemed quite interesting but it did not seem like it was actually happening so next time I record a video I will make sure it looks realistic and the actors do not look stiff or like they are not really doing what they are doing on screen. They also said that they thought it was a very creative and unique idea. The lighting was all natural or constant fluorescent so that I did not have to wait for the weather to be perfect.

This was very effective because people were more interested in the video because it was different and had a comical side to it whereas most adverts do not have this side to it. The audio is a calm relaxed song that will that will engage the targeted audience because that is the type of music that the targeted age group listens to. It will also engage the target audience because it is an issue that effects that group of people more than any other.
